Class Descriptions

 


 

Aqua Fit
A low impact effective aerobic workout using water as a support to improve cardiovascular fitness and muscle tone. Suitable for all levels.

 

Body Balance
A dynamic yoga-based stretch programme combining the fundamental principles and practices of Yoga and Pilates to create a realistic workout that brings the body, mind and soul into a state of balance and harmony.

Body Combat
A non contact martial arts based fitness programme with moves drawn from karate, tae kwan do, kung fu, kickboxing, muay thai and tai chi that provides an exhilarating exercise experience that delivers ultra fast fitness results.

Body Pump
The ultimate toning class. Working through all the major muscles in the body, concentrating on strength & endurance to tone & condition the muscles to help lose weight and change body shape.

 

Beginners Spinnin
The ultimate cardiovascular exercise. This is one of the highest fat burning classes available and is suitable for all levels- let your instructor take you on a journey of hills and flats in this great, energetic fat burning class.

Boxing - Fitness
Training uses a full range of traditional boxing training to provide the ultimate workout to tone, lose weight, improve shape and improve confidence. Ideal for both beginners who want to learn how to box and defend, and those wanting to enhance their repetoire.

Core Control
Core strength is often forgotten in training but is important for injury prevention, athletic performance and posture. This class will test your core strength and improve the muscular endurance and tone of your whole body while learning how to use a variety of new equipment. Suitable for all levels.

Circuits
A combination class utilising exercise stations in a circuit to include cardiovascular, strength and endurance training. An ideal class for those who enjoy working at their own level without having to concentrate on choreography.

GRIT

LES MILLS GRIT™ Strength is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout, designed to improve strength and build lean muscle. This workout uses barbell, weight plate and body weight exercises to blast all major muscle groups. LES MILLS GRIT Strength takes cutting edge HIIT and combines it with powerful music and inspirational coaches who will be down on the floor with you, motivating you to go harder to get fit, fast.

 

LES MILLS GRIT™ Plyo is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) plyometric-based workout, designed to make you perform like an athlete. This workout uses a bench and combines explosive jumping exercises with agility training to increase explosiveness and to build a lean and athletic body. LES MILLS GRIT Plyo takes cutting edge HIIT and combines it with powerful music and inspirational coaches who will be down on the floor with you motivating you to go harder to get fit, fast.

 

LES MILLS GRIT™ Cardio is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout that improves cardiovascular fitness, increase speed and maximize calorie burn. This workout uses a variety of body weight exercises and provides the challenge and intensity you need to get results fast. LES MILLS GRIT Cardio takes HIIT and combines it with powerful music and inspirational coaches who will be down on the floor with you, motivating you to go harder to get fit, fast.

Kettlercise
One piece of equipment, one goal.

A non-stop routine that will work every single muscles in your body to ensure you melt away fat, tone up, improve core stabilitye and endurance too. It is a 3D workout incorporating cardiovascular training, weight training and core work. Kettlercise is particularly effective at toning the body- particularly the legs, bum, hips and stomach.

Legs, Bums & Tums
A low impact workout concentrating on the mid to lower body muscles to tone & tighten those all-important areas. Studio equipment may be used to increase the intensity of the class.

Spinning
The ultimate cardiovascular exercise. This is one of the highest fat burning classes available and is suitable for all levels from the beginner to the most advanced of riders. You set the resistance and decide how hard you want to work.

Indoor Cycling
You don’t have to be a cyclist to enjoy the benefits of studio cycling. Each rider trains at their own level, working in a four week block, building on fitness and endurance. It brings ideas and techniques of road cycling into a dry, safe environment. So whether your goal is weight loss, body toning, getting fit, or just continuing your training during the winter months studio cycling will help you achieve this.

Six Pack Attack
Six Pack Attack! This 30 minute class purely focuses on strengthening and isolating your abdominal and core musculature. Doesn’t matter what level of fitness you are at, this class is for everyone. Get ready to make your abs go rock hard!
